There are options to suit any level, from those working in an administrative role to those with more experience, working as advisors and dealing directly with clients. An NVQ in Advice and Guidance will cover -
Supporting clients to make use of the advice and guidance service
Negotiating on behalf of advice and guidance clients
Developing interactions with advice and guidance clients
Operating within networks
Staging the mediation process
Preparing to represent advice and guidance clients in formal proceedingsTo gain an NVQ you need to show you have certain skills and working with our staff you will find the best way to gain new ones - perhaps by trying new things at work, or by studying. NVQ's are assessed at work or in a simulated workplace. For each unit your assessor watches and asks questions as you perform a task, or looks at a portfolio of work that you've built as formal evidence of your learning. As you progress, your skills and knowledge will steadily increase. If you would like to discuss whether this NVQ is appropriate for your current role or with a view to career progression, please contact your local ITEC North East Business Development Consultant.
