It is vital that the individuals they employ are able to organise people, commondities and resources and are skilled to the highest professional level.An Apprenticeship/NVQ in Business and Administration offers flexibility which can be transferred across a wide range of industry sectors and as individuals gain wider experience, their potential to progress into managerial positions increases. Potential candidates may be working in other areas such as retail or IT and take a Business and Administration qualification to support other qualifications.An Apprenticeship/NVQ in Business and Administration may vary depending on the company type and size but will include:-

Dealing with customers
Supervising and managing an office facility
Orgainising finances and pay
Planning and organising projects and meetings
Supervising and managing colleagues.To gain an NVQ you need to show you have certain skills and working with our staff you will find the best way to gain new ones - perhaps by trying new things at work, or by studying. NVQ's are assessed at work or in a simulated workplace. For each unit your assessor watches and asks questions as you perform a task, or looks at a portfolio of work that you've built as formal evidence of your learning.
