(available as funded and non-funded)
It's estimated there will be 113,000 new jobs in customer service in England between 2004 and 2014. High levels of customer service skills will be required across all sectors such as - retail, financial services, contact centres, hospitality, sport and recreation, health and social care, telecommunications, travel and tourism, and many more besides. An Apprenticeship/NVQ in Customer Service will ensure an improved customer service delivery and increased customer satisfaction leading to confident communication skills, relationship building, resolving problems, promoting products and services, keeping records, gathering customer feedback and working in a team.To gain an NVQ you need to show you have certain skills and working with our staff you will find the best way to gain new ones - perhaps by trying new things at work, or by studying. NVQ's are assessed at work or in a simulated workplace. For each unit your assessor watches and asks questions as you perform a task, or looks at a portfolio of work that you've built as formal evidence of your learning. As you progress, your skills and knowledge will steadily increase. If you would like to discuss whether this NVQ is appropriate for your current role or with a view to career progression, please contact your local ITEC North East Business Development Consultant.
