To gain an NVQ you need to show you have certain skills and working with our staff you will find the best way to gain new ones - perhaps by trying new things at work, or by studying. NVQ's are assessed at work or in a simulated workplace. For each unit your assessor watches and asks questions as you perform a task, or looks at a portfolio of work that you've built as formal evidence of your learning. As you progress your skills and knowledge will steadily increase.

If you would like to discuss whether this NVQ is appropriate for your current role or with a view to career progression, please contact your local ITEC North East Business Development Consultant.
