Sales

Apprenticeships & NVQ’s Level 2 & 3
(available as funded and non-funded)

Sales roles offer an exciting and challenging working environment where both existing staff and new talent can gain the skills to make businesses more productive, efficient and profitable. Tasks to be carried out may include - selling face-to-face or by telephone, processing sales orders, supporting customers in obtaining finance for purchases, generating and qualifying sales leads, meeting after sales needs, making presentations with potential to progress onto negotiating and closing sales, pricing for sales promotions, assessing credit status of customers and retaining sales relationshiips.

To gain an NVQ you need to show you have certain skills and working with our staff you will find the best way to gain new ones - perhaps by trying new things at work, or by studying. NVQ's are assessed at work or in a simulated workplace. For each unit your assessor watches and asks questions as you perform a task, or looks at a portfolio of work that you've built as formal evidence of your learning. As you progress, your skills and knowledge will steadily increase.

If you would like to discuss whether this NVQ is appropriate for your current role or with a view to career progression, please contact your lcoal ITEC North East Business Development Consultant.
