These qualifications are specially designed to give practising or aspiring team leaders a solid foundation in their formal development as a team leader. Learners will gain a basic knowledge of the various roles, functions and responsiblities of a team leader and the limits of their authority and accountability. All learners are able to choose from a range of optional units to build their qualification; this high level of flexibility allows individuals or their employers to custom build a qualification that focuses on the key areas most relevant to their role, industry or organisation.To gain an NVQ you need to show you have certain skills and working with our staff you will find the best way to gain new ones - perhaps by trying new things at work, or by studying. NVQ's are assessed at work or in a simulated workplace. For each unit your assessor watches and asks questions as you perform a task, or looks at a portfolio of work that you've built as formal evidence of your learning.
