ITEC North East have been a successful training provider for 30 years and our core business is the delivery of Apprenticeships in Business and Administration, Customer Service, IT, Sales & Telesales, Telecommunications and Team Leading & Management. We place Apprentices into work with local employers and support them through their vocational training to complete Intermediate and Advanced Apprenticeships. Our experienced training staff also offer our NVQ courses commercially to people already in employment and in addition also deliver a full range of MS packages to groups and individuals.

Based at our Head Office in Newton Aycliffe we have an opportunity to recruit a Sales Apprentice. A range of duties will include cold calling companies in the North East region to generate appointments for the Business Development Team. This role is soley to make telephone calls to generate interest, not to close a sale over the phone. Other duties will include attendance at careers events to promote our services and to complete general office administration tasks. Ideally candidates must have an excellent telephone manner and be confident and outgoing, a knowledge of IT and the internet would be an advantage and to hold GCSE grades C or above in Maths and English.

With a range of duties the successful candidate will study towards their Intermediate Apprenticeship (NVQ Level 2) in Sales and Telesales, Key Skills and Technical Certificate if necessary.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm. This position offers employed status with a starting salary of £100 per week.
