IT Apprentice, Newton Aycliffe

An expanding building maintenance company have an opportunity to recruit an IT Apprentice.  The successful candidate will undertake a variety of tasks including:- various hardware and software tasks - to be involved in regular updating of social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin - website ecommerce - commercial ebay and Google ads - to undertake monthly maintenance of IT systems and trouble-shoot any hardware/software problems alongside the existing IT support.  Candidates should be well organised and an effective communicator able to work as part of a team.  Existing experience and knowledge of IT including hardware, social networking and all of the Microsoft packages would be a significant advantage.  Candidates should also be friendly and approachable and be willing to learn whilst presenting a positive image of the organisation.  The employer would prefer candidates to hold GCSE Maths, English and IT at grade C or above
With a wide range of responsibilities the successful candidate will study towards their Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web & Telecoms Professionals with Key Skills and Technical Certificate if required.  Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.  This vacancy is employed status with a starting salary of £104 per week.
