Sales/Telesales Apprentice, Newton Aycliffe

A busy building maintenance company have an opportunity to recruit a Sales/Telesales Apprentice to assist in the generation of new business.  Duties will include cold calling commercial companies to generate appointments for their field sales team.  (There is no requirement to close a sale over the phone, simply to generate interest).  Other duties include general office administration and any other relevant tasks as required.  The company is looking for an individual with the desire to progress into permanent employment and to grow within the company, not simply to complete their Apprenticeship.  Candidates should have a confident telephone manner, be outgoing and prepared to cold call businesses.  The employer would prefer candidates to have GCSE grade C or above in both Maths and English, or equivalent, although this is not mandatory.  This role will allow the successful candidate to study towards their NVQ Level 2 in Sales (Intermediate Apprenticeship) plus Technical Certificate and Key/Functional Skills if required.  The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm
